Arrest Made by El Paso’s Sheriff’s Office of Man Featured in El Paso Crime Stoppers ‘Most Wanted’

On October 19, 2020, an arrest was made by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office after receiving a tip that he was at a residence in the 7400 block of Phoenix.

Abel Montoya, 61, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on suspicion of continuous indecency with a child involving sexual contact. His bond is set for $20,000.

Montoya was recently featured in El Paso Crime Stoppers Most Wanted for October 17. A new release of Most Wanted fugitives has been made for October 25.

Anyone with information on the location of any of these fugitives should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at 915-566-8477 (TIPS), or submit the information on-line at www.crimestoppersofelpaso.org. You will remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you can qualify for a cash reward.
