2.25 pounds of methamphetamine and 1.10 pounds of fentanyl were found strapped to a 13 year old boy at the Ysleta Port of Entry by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers, according to a news release from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. At 7 am on October 21st, the vehicle of a mother traveling to El Paso, Texas with her three minor children (aged 13, 12, and 5) was selected for a secondary inspection (Fox News). A detection dog alerted officers of narcotics present in the front passenger seat and subsequently saw a square shaped object protruding from the oldest child’s back (CBP).
