EAT MORE VEGGIES!

Eating more vegetables can help increase the intake of fiber and potassium, which are important nutrients that many Americans do not get enough of in their diet, according to Choose My Plate. It can also protect you from certain types of cancer while also reducing your risk of manifesting heart disease or suffering from a stroke.
Let’s not forget that veggies are low in fat and calories. None have cholesterol! So when eating your veggies you are ensuring you’re giving your body the important nutrients it needs such as potassium, dietary fiber, folate (folic acid), vitamin A, and Vitamin C. (Just remember to be mindful with the butter and seasonings, try cooking in oils such as grapeseed and avocado instead to keep your dish healthy and heart happy).
