Depression, anxiety, and any other mental health condition of the sort can play a major role in you not feeling your best to do, well, anything. Mental illness of any sort may cause you to delay in taking action as the effects of it diminish any, if not all, motivation, concentration, or perseverance.
What to Try: Meditate! Release your mind from the negative thoughts and replace them with stillness and balance. Meditation is a great practice to pick up just in general as it may help to increase patience, tolerance, imagination, and creativity. It could also assist in managing stress, increasing your self-awareness, and regain your focus to the present. You could also look into seeking professional help to rule out things like any physical contributions to your mental health concerns.
