“Mmmcheeseburger!” While it sounds all fine and dandy to binge watch Netflix and eat junk food in the process, only your taste buds will thank you. Our bodies are designed to take food in fuel, so when you decide to feed it pizza and burgers over salad and apples, you are training your body to be tired and sluggish, as well as your brain. And when you don’t feel so hot, that’s all you can really think about. (Aside from taking a “quick” nap.)  

What to Try: Change up your diet. Eat more veggies! Although it may not sound appetizing, your body and brain crave healthy food to function properly. When your body is happy and energized, so are you!

Fun Fact: The average adult body is made up of 60% water with the brain and heart being made up of up to 73% of water, so make sure you’re also getting in your daily dose!
